Newman and Gray were asked directly from our client to breathe new lift into this original parquet floor. The client wanted to have the floor lightened from its original tudor colouration in order to modernise its appeal so we brought in a team to sand and renovate the floor. This is one of those jobs that we love to do. Despite the client having the wealth to strip out and replace the floor and fit something new by breathing new life into an existing wood floor which could be renovated for decades, if not centuries to come, means that the overall lifecycle and end of life values for this kind of floor make it simply one of the most sustainable products of its kind. A significant factor for modern times as many of our clients seek floors which can offer the most minimal environmental impact over a products lifespan.
